Scope
Finance & AI is an open-access, peer-reviewed journal dedicated to research at the intersection of finance, economics, and artificial intelligence. We welcome original contributions in areas including, but not limited to:
- Machine learning and deep learning for financial modeling and forecasting
- Natural language processing for financial text analysis and sentiment detection
- Algorithmic and high-frequency trading strategies
- AI-driven risk management, credit scoring, and fraud detection
- Reinforcement learning for portfolio optimization and market making
- Explainable AI (XAI) in financial decision-making
- Blockchain, decentralized finance (DeFi), and smart contract analysis
- Quantitative finance and computational economics
- Regulatory technology (RegTech) and compliance automation
- AI applications in insurance, banking, and fintech
Manuscript Preparation
All manuscripts must be prepared using the official Finance & AI LaTeX template. Submissions that do not follow the template will be returned to the authors.
- Use the provided
finai_journal.tex as the main file
- Do not modify the style file
finai_journal.sty
- Figures should be in PDF, PNG, or EPS format
- References must use BibTeX with the provided
finai_journal.bst style
Submission Requirements
- ZIP archive containing all LaTeX source files (.tex, .bib, .sty, images)
- PDF compiled from the template
- Abstract of 150–250 words
- 3–10 keywords
- All co-authors must be listed with affiliations and email addresses
Review Process
All submissions undergo double-blind peer review. Authors must ensure that the manuscript does not contain identifying information during submission (leave \journalfinalcopy commented out).
- Initial editorial screening: 3–5 business days
- Peer review: 4–8 weeks
- Possible decisions: Accept, Minor Revision, Major Revision, Reject
Publication Charges
Article Processing Charges (APC) may vary depending on the issue. The applicable fee (if any) is displayed on the issue page and in the submission form. Some issues may be published free of charge.
Ethical Standards
Authors must confirm that the submitted work is original, has not been published elsewhere, and is not under consideration by another journal. All sources must be properly cited, and any use of third-party material requires appropriate permissions. The work must comply with applicable ethical standards and institutional regulations.
